NEED DETERMINATION – CONSULTWITHVRP: Meet with Dependent and move case to EP status. DoesDependent need SVT to achieve a vocational goal? Can specific services and courses be identified?Is SVT in the Dependent’s best interest? [38 CFR 21.4232]
FEASIBILITY: Isit feasible for Dependent to pursue SVT? [38 CFR 21.3041]
VOCATIONALEXPLORATION: Vocational Assessment and Rehabilitation Planning
PLAN DEVELOPMENT:VRC and Dependent must sign the plan (IWRP). Provide VAF 28-1905 and plan to RPO.Move case to RTE status.
CASEMANAGEMENT: IsDependentsatisfactorily progressing inhis/her trainingprogram?
Did Dependent successfully complete rehabilitation plan?
INTERRUPT REHAB SERVICES –ProvideDependentwith Dueprocess.Proceed to discontinue case if dependent fails to progress for reasons cited in 38 CFR 21.3043 or 21.4277.
DISCONTINUE CASE -Close case using RC 09 and provide Dependent with Due Process and Appellate Rights. [38 CFR21.1034, M28R.VII.A.2]
