GETTING AN INVITATION
DETERMINED BASED ON ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE IN 7THGRADESTUDENTS WITH AN OVERALL YEARLY AVERAGE OF 92.5 OR BETTER WILL RECEIVE AN INVITATION TO JOIN BETA CLUBTHIS IS THE AVERAGE OF THE F1 COLUMN OF YOUR FINAL REPORT CARD FOR MATH, SCIENCE, READING, AND SOCIAL STUDIES
BETA DUES
DUES WILL BE DUE ONE WEEK AFTER OUR INTRODUCTORY PARENT MEETING.BETA DUES ARE $25 IN TOTAL$15 (NATIONAL) AND $10 (LOCAL)ONCE DUES ARE COLLECTED STUDENTS WILL BE REGISTERED WITH THE NATIONAL BETA CLUB WHICH ALLOWS US TO RECEIVE THEIR PIN AND CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION FOR OUR INDUCTION CEREMONY
MAINTAININGACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY
REPORT CARDS MUST BE CHECKED/VERIFIED AT THE FIRST MANDATORY MEETING FOLLOWING EACH REPORT CARDSTUDENTS MUST MAINTAIN AN OVERALL/CUMULATIVE AVERAGE OF 92.5 OR HIGHER AT THE CONCLUSION OF EACH GRADING PERIODIF A STUDENTS CUMULATIVE AVERAGE DROPS BELOW 92.5 THE STUDENT WILL BE PLACED ON PROBATION FOR THE FOLLOWING9WEEKSIF A STUDENT GOES ON PROBATION 2 GRADING PERIODS IN A ROW, THEY WILL GO ON AN INACTIVE STATUSDURINGAN INCATIVESTATUS, STUDENTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN BETA SPONSORED EVENTS.
