Discharge for medical reasons may be eligible as long as they have separation orders and can complete the PTDY prior to Approved separation dateThis includes Temporary and Permanent Disability Retired list (TDRL/PDRL)

HOW LONG CAN I GO PTDY?
TSM’s stationed CONUS may receive 10-20 days depending on if they are involuntary separated or retiredTSM’s stationed OCONUS may receive and additional 10 days for a max of 20 days for involuntaryseparateesor 30 days for retirees
