Two Options(Note: Neither case guarantees a position)
Mutual Verbal Agreement
General Pool
Before the application is submitted, instructor and student discuss possible working relationshipStudent and instructor reach verbal agreement on thenumber of hoursand thesection of the coursethat the student should apply forBoth agree to request each other, making this a “matched” application with a mutual verbal agreement
When a student has not discussed with any instructors a possible placement in a particular course, student submits application to the general poolQualified students will be asked to consult a Google jobs Spreadsheet to connect with faculty
