God helps us to do what we must do to serve Him.God gave David strength to serve Him.Cf. Phil. 4:13 Where does our strength come from?Heb. 13:5-6 I will never leave thee….Prov. 3:5-6..Even Peter, who denied Jesus, was restored to thelove of the Master. He preached the first Gospelsermon. Sin Can Bring Horrible Consequences, butSin Can Be forgiven…My sin is ever beforeme. “For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sinisever before me.”Psalm 51:3David admitted his sin. 2 Sam. 12:13I have sinnedAgainst the Lord. “I have”…. He had hurt the Living God…and he was sorry for That. He admitted and confessed his sins. “I have sinned” I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just toForgive us of our sins, and to cleanse us from allunrighteousness.”Hecould tell you the sorrow that went with the punishment for his sins.
